O joy, more reasons to rant at Meg.
Spoilers
The three Mrs. W's finally appear, called by the aliens on the planet where the 3 have tessered to. Not even greeting or thanking them for their gifts that saved their lives, she starts a tirade targeted at her father, telling them that he could not do anything and that Charles was taken by IT. They reply calmly but with a hint of annoyance at her attitude however, and their "unwillingness" which is in fact, their inability, to do nothing starts to piss Meg off real bad. She starts accusing people again, screaming at the three witches for not wanting to help and her father for not doing anything. After a while, she starts taking out her anger on the aliens, asking why they won't help and pounding on the alien that had taken care of her during their stay on the planet.
At this point, I just had to put down the book in fear of ripping it into pieces. Yes, I'm the kind of person that could get mad by even reading a book. Generally, I don't get mad easily, but when people start acting like Meg is, I tend to lash out unexpectedly, and sadly I can not control myself in these kinds of situations, which usually lead me in to trouble. Thankfully, there haven't been many times that has happened in my life and I hope this does not cause trouble for me later on. Anyway, back to the story.
Finally, Meg comes to her senses, and becomes a much nicer character. This however, doesn't solve the main problem: getting Charles away from IT. Mrs. Who, Whatsit and Which however, believe that Meg is the only one that can get Charles back safely. Armed with more gifts, she ventures off once again to the world of IT. Confronting IT head to head, she recalls the words of Mrs.Who, "there is one thing that you have that IT will never understand, and that might be enough to destroy IT." Thinking for a long time, she comes to the conclusion that IT will never feel love, and she starts screaming I love you Charles and all this mushy stuff that gets so close to incest, but not quite. That obviously does the trick and IT's control over everything falters, and the cliche of everything falling apart once the main boss/villain is defeated happens. The witches suddenly appear however, and they are sent home, together as one family.
Happily Ever After.
Don't you just love happy endings?

Question Reflection
An interesting question came up in the previous chapter, and I have been thinking about it a lot... and I still can't come up with a good answer. The question was something along the lines of "How would one describe to another something basic that the other has never experienced, seen or touched before?" The question came up in Meg's mind when the aliens, who were "blind" but could "see" all only feels the suns light rays, but do not know how they look like. They don't even know what seeing is! If I was in Meg's position, I would be at as much of a lose as she was. Words such as bright and shiny can not be used as the aliens do not have sight, and only things they touch and feel can be understood by them. This started reminding me of the blind people in this world, how if they were born blind and have never seen anything, just how much they are missing.

A Wrinkle in Time: Chapter 10 - Chapter 11
OK. Its official. I hate Meg.
The attitude that she displays in these two chapters and her thoughts just totally pissed me off. She was blaming her father for rescuing her, angry at him because he couldn't save Charles, thinking he killed them bringing them to this planet. She kicked and accused her saviors, aliens of the planet who were kind enough to help. She called Calvin an idiot for not trying to get the Witches and that he cared nothing for Charles at all when it was she who has not done anything and he has been trying everything in his power to tell the aliens who the Mrs.W's were. Overall, she is being a ungrateful little brat who needs to fix her attitude. Anyway, enough with the rant.
Spoilers ahead
After tessering successfully away from the place, a few things goes wrong. Meg who is weak got pummeled by Mr.Murry's unexperienced tessering skills and is cold, knocked out and weaker than before. Also due to his inexperience, they have no idea where they wound up or how much time passed between the tessering. Despite this, the group is lucky as two aliens from the planet come by and save them, giving them food and clothing, while giving Meg treatment. Once fully awake however, Meg starts complaining and whining like no tomorrow about this and while she is right about somethings, she herself has done nothing. In the end, Mrs. Who, Whatsit and Which appear.

A Wrinkle in Time: Chapter 9
Spoilers
Well, they finally found Meg's father, but lost her brother in the process. The pillar Mr.Murry (her father) is trapped in however, is solid and they can't get through. Suddenly Calvin remembers, the Mrs. W's gift to him, a section of "The Tempest" by William Shakespeare. Reciting it while staring into Charles's eyes, his mind is thrown in to conflict. At this time, Meg remembers one of Mrs. W's gifts to her as well, a pair of glasses that was supposed to be saved for a time of great peril. Seeing them however, Charles snaps back in to IT's control and goes after Meg. Quickly putting them on, she finds she is able to rearrange atoms and rushes in to her father. After getting her father out however, they are lead to IT. IT is finally revealed as a brain, a brain with the whole city as a body under his command, following his rhythm and leadership. Struggling not to fall under IT's control, Mr.Murry is finally forced to tesser to save themselves from enslavement.
Exciting chapter, except for the fact that Meg is growing to be an annoying protagonist. She expected that when she found her father, everything would turn out all right, but when everything doesn't, she starts to become angry at her father, when she knows full well that he had been missing for many years and probably more confused then they are. I found it quite appropriate that IT turned out to be a brain, as everything would make sense now. IT functions just like our brain, giving out commands and the body reacts accordingly, just like how IT controls the city. I am really curious to how Mr.Murry can tesser at will, being the human that he is, with no machines to help him. Maybe Mrs.Who's glasses helped him to tesser, but that can't be determined till later.

A Wrinkle in Time: Chapter 8
As I was reading through this chapter, I began to sympathize with Meg for the "loss" of her brother. It must be really hard to loose someone, but yet they are still there in front of you. I guess it'll be similar to having a close friend or relative of yours get in to an accident and end up with a semi serious case of amnesia. You see that a lot in dramas, now that I think about it. There is always some person who gets in to an accident, and then he or she gets amnesia, successfully creating a sob story. Anyway, back on topic.
SPOILERS
With Charles under control of IT now, Meg and Calvin now have to defend for themselves, without the quick witted and knowledgeable Charles on their side. However, IT agrees to take them to where their father is located, and led by Charles, Meg indeed does see her father, trapped and seemingly knocked out, inside a pillar.
Throughout this chapter, one thing stuck out from the rest of the things that happened, the ability to move through anything and everything. It is another apparently invented concept, and it suggests that since everything is made out of atoms, and there is a lot of space between them, the atoms are merely rearranged to provide enough space to pass through. Though true, it is different in practice, as no one can simply just move atoms aside without first having the means to do so. Maybe in the future, a machine will be constructed based on this theory, it would be quite a sight to behold.

A Wrinkle in Time: Chapter 7
Spoilers
The children have finally made it, where their father is possibly located and all that stands in their way is a man with glowing red eyes and the mastermind of this city, IT. Through the man with red eyes, IT talks to them with telepathy. and is able to even make plain food taste like what ever they want. Charles however, is able to shut his mind from him, and as a result, the food tastes like sand to him. He however, wants to know what IT is, and looks straight in to the man's eyes, hoping to find the answer like how he usually does. However, the worse happens and he falls under IT's spell. Now a total zombie under IT's will, Meg and Calvin are left alone to face the danger of IT.
As I read this chapter, I got more and more curious about what IT actually was, and sadly I did not find out by the end of the chapter. All I could gather from the chapter was that, it uses telepathy and it runs the place, laying out the population's routine, keeping everything in sync. Now I suppose I can add to the list of reasons why this book was banned. As a review, on the list so far is... delinquent child, missing father, witches, magic, tessering, time manipulation, existence of other life forms and planets, a darkness that threatens all including Earth, and now added to the list is the use of telepathy. Quickly glancing at the list, half of these are magic/ science fiction related, and should be taken as they are, fiction. Though I do not know if these are really the reasons why this book was banned, I intend to find out sooner or later.

A Wrinkle in Time: Chapter 6
Spoilers.
The location of their father has been found, through the help of the Happy Medium, the one who sees all through her crystal ball. They also see however, that the darkness shadows Earth, and threatens to engulf it if nothing is done. For this reason, as well as finding their father, the three children now go into Camazotz, a world that has already been taken by the darkness and the place where their father is. Armed with only 2 warnings and one gift, the children push forward, into a city where everything is controlled by a single being.
Really exciting part, I couldn't put the book down till I was practically finished, but I'll only do one post for now. New reasons for banning this book has come forth, such as the evil force threatening to take over all of Earth and a city where everything that is ever done and everyone that lives there is under the command of a supreme being. This part was quite discomforting to me, as I like to place myself in other people's positions, and living in that town was really not the best place to be. Everything is done at the same time, to the second, even playing, the children's jumping rope touches the ground at the same time as everyone else's and everyone is doing the same activity. Really creeped me out. It was also interesting to see a Shakespearean quote used from The Tempest as a warning/gift for one of the children, guess it must mean the author likes Shakespeare a lot.
